UNIMAGINABLE CHALLENGE
Trust is an exemplary situation where a person or group will be able to act appropriately in a given situation with their own thoughts.
Trust is enhanced and reinforced based on the actions and values that are their own.
Trust is the starting point I will use in my work methodology to show you how important it is for a goalkeeper to feel secure.
In my early days, I wasn’t fortunate enough to have a goalkeeping coach, and when I noticed this lack, my only fervent wish is to accompany you, train you, and teach you with real actions that, with effort, dedication, and diligence, will help you achieve your goals.
The goalkeeper’s world is life itself. Some of you are already familiar with this universe, while others aren’t, so I’ll briefly explain it to you.
We are, as we are sometimes called, the “weird ones.” We train in isolation, we dress differently, and our role on the field is also different. But we have one great commitment: to responsibly defend our team’s goal.
STARTING A NEW DAY
We began the training with these words: “I have complete confidence in you, but if you don’t have confidence in yourselves, you won’t be able to achieve your goals.”
We all have clear instructions: empower each other and strengthen confidence.
This can only be achieved by making the most of the sessions to clear up any doubts and optimize what has been achieved. Once this goal is achieved, their participation in the game will be a great adventure, not a threat.
Graphically, in a back pass, they should show their conviction in a play option and not as a last resort, or in a shot where their posture, gaze, and attitude indicate that they want to go for the ball and finish it correctly.
THE MOMENT HAS COME
Once the pre-match warm-up is over, we embrace in a single hug to show unity, hard work, and the passion and pride of being a goalkeeper.
Once the game has started, people think the goalkeeper is alone. But he, his teammates, and I know better; he’s not alone. Our trust and HIS TRUST WILL ALWAYS BE WITH HIM. THIS WAY, HIS ACHIEVEMENTS WILL BE EVERYONE’S…
